March 2012 ACT Flooding Event

As most would be aware, the ACTRFS supported the ACT SES during the heavy rains and flooding throughout the ACT.  This was a prolonged event that lasted over several days with crews working around the clock.  A total of 941 calls for assistance was received from Tuesday 28th February through to Monday 5th March.

    disappointing that you only put up select images, didn't realise only certain people can submit photos

    Thank you for your feedback Pat. That is definitely not the case. As we state in the banner of the blog we welcome any images from out in the field. "If you have any images that may be appropriate please send them through to rfsadmin@act.gov.au" We look forward to seeing some of yours.
